In terms of reward for cycling effort this is definitely the best ride. In a relatively short ride the ridge between the Albunuelas and Guajar valleys is reached and there is a constantly changing vista. Most landmarks can be seen on this ride - The coast, the Guajar valley, the peaks of Herrero and Giralda, the Sierra Nevada and of course the Lecrin Valley.
The route can be cycled in both directions but the recommended way is anti-clockwise - slightly easier and the best views.
